Hello everyone, I’m Tara Singh Rajput, and I’m thrilled to share with you my journey from being a student to becoming a mentor at NarayanChandraTrust (NCT) and LearnFromPeers (LFP). It’s been an incredible ride filled with learning, growth, and opportunities that have shaped my career and aspirations.

Two years ago, I joined NCT with the humble intention of learning computers and gaining digital literacy. Little did I know that this decision would lead me on a path of self-discovery and empowerment. Starting as a student, I immersed myself in the world of technology, eager to absorb as much knowledge as possible.

As I delved deeper into my studies, I felt compelled to give back to the community that had provided me with so much support and guidance. That’s when I decided to volunteer as a mentor at LFP, an initiative under NCT aimed at providing students in Nallasopara, Vasai, and Virar with digital literacy. It was incredibly fulfilling to be able to help others navigate the world of technology and empower them with the skills they needed to succeed.

Success Story

From Student to Intern: My Journey in NCT and LFP

As time went on, my passion for technology grew, and I realized the potential for freelancing as a means of both financial independence and personal growth. Together with my peers, we formed a freelance team, leveraging our skills in WordPress development to create websites for clients. Through hard work and dedication, we successfully completed over 10 projects and earned more than 60k+ in revenue.

With each project we completed, our confidence and expertise grew. It wasn’t long before we started seeking out internships to gain professional experience and further expand our skill set. And that’s when the opportunity at Virtual Buildup GmbH presented itself.

Currently, I am interning at Virtual Buildup GmbH, a reputable German-based real estate company known for crafting websites for its clients. It’s an exciting opportunity to apply my skills in a professional setting and gain invaluable real-world experience.

In addition to my internship, I continue to mentor students at LFP, guiding them towards internships and helping them achieve their professional goals. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the impact that digital literacy can have on individuals and communities, and I’m grateful to be a part of this journey.

Looking ahead, my passion for technology remains unwavering, and I aspire to pursue a career as a Game Developer. With determination and perseverance, I’m confident that I can turn this dream into reality.
